This revolutionary product will reduce the amount of dirt and debris contacting your air filter during long motos or while washing your trusty steed. MOTOR GUARD MX is a custom fit device that is used to seal out dirt, mud, and water from the air box of off road motor vehicles during the wash process. The design of most late model off road motor vehicles utilize a foam filter to guard against dirt and other debris getting into the carburetor and ultimately the engine of the motor vehicle. Ventilation portals are holes that are positioned on the air box or surrounding structures of the air filter to allow sufficient air flow to the engine providing for optimal performance. The foam air filter is typically treated with a sticky oil substance to attract any foreign material that may penetrate the air filter.

With the introduction of highly advanced four stroke engines, it is even more important today to prevent dirt from reaching the engine components. Contamination can often lead to very costly engine repairs. The idea behind the MOTOR GUARD MX is that by nature of off road vehicles, they often become very soiled with mud and dirt during the riding activity. To maintain optimum performance and preserve engine serviceability of the vehicle, every attempt should be made to keep dirt and water out of the air box. This means that during the washing process of an off road vehicle something should be used to protect the openings on the air box leading to the air filter.

The function of the MOTOR GUARD MX is to serve as a seal during the washing process. The MOTOR GUARD MX is a custom fit device that is inserted into the various openings of the air box or side number plates, to prevent water or foreign debris from entering the air box during the washing process. The MOTOR GUARD MX can be customized to fit into the various size openings of different motor vehicle manufacturer air box openings. These openings are typically present on the side number plates of off road motorcycles. The application is intended for use on both off road and highway motor vehicles where applicable.
